I guess I have always known that it would be possible for a stupid incompetent racist to be elected president of the U.S. if he was a smooth talker who could charm people into supporting him. But I still don't get how we could end up with this guy who is all that without the smooth talk. How the hell can anyone think this guy is capable of leading the country when he cannot utter a statement that makes complete sense?
I know, I know, I'm the billionth person to say something like this in the past two years. But we really can't forget that this just isn't normal. The fact that Trump's approval is still around 40% is a national embarrassment.
