Wishful thinking

I keep hoping that heads of state of  the G7 countries announce they will not attend next year's summit in Trump's Doral Resort because their administration stands against corruption. Trump is really unpopular in all six other G7 members: France, Germany, Italy, Canada, Japan, and the UK. While Trump may try to get back at countries who snub him at his G7 party, he's already treating most of them like shit. The only foreign leader of a G7 country who Trump doesn't push around or otherwise trample their interests is Boris Johnson, and he will probably be long gone before next June rolls around. Whoever does will be able to claim they are taking a principled stand against using a public office for self-enrichment. The announcement would also probably be cheered by the Democratic candidates for president, one of whom is likely to be President by the time the 2021 G7 rolls around.

Seriously, someone should step up and make the announcement. Hell, all of them should.

ADDING: C'mon people. Don't just express discomfort, send your regrets. Trump will rage at you and your people will love you for it!
