what locker rooms are these people hanging around in?

The "locker room talk" has always been a lame excuse. But I do understand that making degrading comments about women in locker rooms is a real phenomenon. I think sexist macho locker room culture is a real. It shouldn't be an excuse, but at least when they said "grab her by the pussy" was "locker room talk" at least they were referring to an actual thing.

But I don't think "let's storm the capitol" or "hang the traitors" is what anyone says in normal locker room banter. Even in those deeply misogynistic locker rooms, I'm guessing once you start talking about murdering members of Congress and overthrowing the government, people would start backing away. At least I hope so.
