The good news is if the Republicans capture either branch of Congress and launch a bunch of bullshit investigations, the Biden Administration can just ignore all their subpoenas. Because Republicans have established that a Congressional subpoena is nothing more than a request for information or testimony which cannot ever actually be enforced.
Yeah while I do think ignoring Congressional subpoenas is a bad precedent, that precedent has already been established. Democrats comply with subpoenas while Republicans ignore them at will is an even worse precedent so there is no reason for Democrats to play along. Maybe Democrats ignoring subpoenas would get Congress to finally pass a real enforcement mechanism for Congressional subpoenas, one that doesn't rely on a judicial process that takes so long that the Congressional term ends before there is enforcement and the subpoena becomes moot.
