Congresswoman Mary Miller, before she turned over the podium to Trump so he could endorse her in a rally in Southern Illinois,
said that overturning Roe v. Wade “was a victory for white life” and then the crowd cheered.
Her campaign says that she meant to say “was a victory for right to life.” I don’t buy it (Rep Miller is
the one who made that “Hitler was right” remark on January 6). But even if she had just misread the words on the card, why did the crowd cheer?
