It looks like the UK is proceeding with its ridiculous send asylum seekers to Rwanda plan.
I wish someone would pay attention to what the plan might do to Rwanda. While I don't pay close attention to British politics, I have been following this plan for years. But everything I read is only from the British perspective, how it plays out in British politics, whether it is racist (it is!), etc. But an influx of migrants from a variety of places, along with British taxpayer pounds to pay for them, could have a profound impact on a small Central African nation that is still recovering from the 1994 genocide. Has anyone bothered to ask Rwandans what they think about the plan?
