so i missed posting on thanksgiving (on this site at least). i never really was one to write some long essay about what i am thankful for. but still, i felt like i should write something, which meant i wrote nothing. feeling a sense of obligation to this blog always triggers that kind of counter-reaction.
this morning i did my latest trick: looking at what i wrote last year for thanksgiving. (apparently i'm not the only one who does this). but all i found was an annoying little post advising my readers i was going away for the holidays, but written in a way to guarantee that almost no one understood.
but thanksgiving is over now. i don't have to worry about a thanksgiving post for another year now. that, at least, is something to be thankful for.
