i've never gotten good friday off before, and i never expected to get it off this year. but the other day the powers that be in my firm announced out-of-the-blue that we would be closed today.
not that i have a problem with it. it's just been a long time since i've suddenly had a full free day with nothing planned. no doubt i'll find all sorts of new and exciting ways to waste a lot of time.
