so last week democrats who proposed a drawdown of troops were ridiculed. this week, it turns out the pentagon had a drawdown plan that looks pretty similar to the one ridiculed by republicans in congress. and now, it looks like the pentagon has already begun to cut and run through attrition.
so i'm confused, are we ready to draw down or not? it seems to me like the answer depends on who's asking the question
