1. getting a call about an emergency at work on the sunday of a four-day weekend.
2. spending much of yesterday waiting at home for an email that never came.
3. managing to reach the person who was supposed to send the email in the evening, and hearing him promise to send me the email between 6:30 and 7:00 a.m. the next morning.
4. setting my alarm to wake up at 7 a.m. on a day i should be off from work
5. dragging my ass out of bed, without the assistance of caffeine, finding no email and trying unsuccessfully to call the emailer
6. waiting for an email early on a holiday morning, not knowing if anyone is actually gonna email me anything and wishing i was back in bed
