the washington times has a story about how conservative turnout is expected to be low in the upcoming election. stories like that are like candy for liberals like me, especially when they come from a conservative rag like the washington times.
on the other hand, i understand that conservative groups are already sending out alarmist letters to republicans about lewis v. harris, aka the new jersey gay marriage case. the new jersey supreme court decision hasn't even come out yet, but some friends of friends of friends who are republicans report that they've received emails trying to rile them up about the impending legalization of gay marriage in new jersey.
also according to emily 2's sources the lewis v. harris decision will appear within the next week. considering how social conservatives across the nation flipped out after the massachusetts gay marriage decision, there is a real danger that lewis could change the november turnout numbers at the last minute.
