so al-hurra, the american-financed channel trying to be the more pro-american version of al-jazeera broadcast a lot of anti-american and anti-semitic stuff. but on the plus side, almost no one in the arab world actually watches the channel1 because it's viewed as american propaganda.

1- at least that's my understanding. i was trying to find some recent ratings data on the channel, but i can't find any. as of a year and a half ago or so, al-hurra's minuscule viewership was something of a joke. maybe it's changed since then, but i can't find any evidence of that.
