i haven't been on the internet all that much since i got here, at least not much for me. today, mrs. noz is sleeping in. so i actually got to check out some news sites more than i have been since we arrived in jerusalem.
i'm struck by how distant american domestic politics seems from here, and how little i seem to miss when i take a break from it. israel is a very political country, i've been running into politics everywhere i go. but the daily nonsense we call political coverage in the u.s. seems even stupider when i watch from here.
