it seems like when the supreme court rules against the bush administration, it just ignores the decision and continues to make the same legal claims that the court ruled was wrong.
i wonder what would have happened if bush v. gore had gone the other way. would bush and cheney just have ignored the decision and pretended that they actually won? would they have shown up at the inauguration and tried to wrestle the bible out of al gore's hands? would bush's and gore's moving vans have met each other at the entrance to the white house driveway?
