just a couple of days ago, it looked like the republicans were finally getting around to settling for romney. it's been obvious all along that is what they would do eventually. but then just a few days ago. there was another shift in the winds and newt began his surge through south carolina. so why did is this twice written off widely disliked disgraced former speaker once again threatening romney's coronation? because he "put juan williams in his place" and acted all indignant when he received a question that everyone knew he would be asked.
it's not about issues. (how could it be? fox news doesn't present issues) it's about who is the one they think will piss off liberals the most.
in other words, things are going well! i wonder how long gingrich can torture mittens before even he bows to the inevitable.
