in a move reminiscent of the simmering yet stupid persian gulf/arabian gulf controversy., a legislator in mississippi has introduced a bill to rename the "gulf of mexico" the "gulf of america". i guess its inevitable that this country would jump on nationalistic renaming bandwagon. no one out-stupids america!
