I only read "Game Change" because I was in one of those stuck-in-Kazakhstan-for-months-with-only-a-few-books-in-English-to-read type situations. After reading this, I'm not sure I would resort to "Double Down" if I were in that situation now. Luckily, the bullshit that Halperin and Heilemann focus so obsessively on doesn't seem to matter, in case you're looking for yet another reason to spare yourself a book like "Double Down."
