Impeachment is just a fundraising tool

Barring something completely new that upends everything that has come out so far, Obama is not going to be impeached. I think politicians in both parties know that. A bunch of GOPers have talked about impeaching the President, but that's just a way to rile up their supporters to get them to donate to their campaign. And now, the Democrats:
In the recent fundraising email, the DNC highlighted quotes by Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN), Sen. James Inhofe (R-OK), Rep. Kerry Bentivolio (R-MI), and Rep. Blake Farenthold (R-TX), all of whom have suggested moving to impeach the president.

I have no doubt that the DNC knows that Bachmann, Inhofe, Bentivolio, and Farenthold are not going to impeach Obama. But they're using their statements about impeachment to fundraise. Just as those five made their original statements to raise their own funds.

This isn't about removing a president from office before his term is up, this is about getting supporters who don't know any better to donate more to their campaigns.
