Is Maliki on board with the Biden Plan now?

This makes me wonder if Maliki wants his government to rule all of Iraq. If he doesn't think the current threat posed by ISIS and its allies is enough to put differences aside and pull together for the good of a unified country, is there anything that would be enough? He has to form a new coalition government in the next week anyway. Unless you're trying to make Sunni Arabs and Kurds excluded from his government, why not pull them into the coalition?

If all three major groups are on board with the idea of splitting the country, it probably will happen. Of course, that still leaves messy issues, like who gets Baghdad. As I said before, a split doesn't necessarily solve more problems than it creates. But redrawing the modern borders of an Arab country is a major Rubicon to cross.
