I'm not that surprised that the Bitcoin experiment would get a willing guinea pig in a place like Bishkek, but what is interesting is that the machine seems to only convert dollars into bitcoin. What about Som? I wonder if it also works Rubles or Euros (two other foreign currencies that might be used in Central Asia). Okay, Rubles-to-bitcoin might be a problem. But it is strange if the machine doesn't take the local currency.
