Noz attempts a sports metaphor

I still don't understand why there is so little media attention during the primary season on delegates, how they are accrued, and how each of the candidate's chances for accruing delegates looks given the current polling numbers. The nomination process is about getting a majority of the delegates. It's not about winning the most states, or "momentum," or or their overall popularity among the national population. And yet, the press pays almost no attention to the delegate aspect of the race. Most article I read about the race don't even mention them.

It's like reading a bunch of articles about professional basketball, but each one only discusses how well the players run up and down the court without mentioning how many times they get the ball in the basket.
