Opposition parties hit their target percentage on the nose once again, just like they did in 2012! And the only two non-governing parties that cleared the 7% threshold to get a seat in parliament, once again only did by a fraction of a percentage (7.18% and 7.14%, respectively), thus allowing Kazakhstan to tell the world that it has non-governing parties represented in the national legislature, while telling their people that those parties are no unpopular that they only barely made it.
What are the odds of this happening twice, even with all the turmoil recently caused by the sinking Tenge?!?
