Too racist to be a federal judge, perfect to be Trump's Attorney General

Of course, Session's judicial nomination was rejected by the Republican-controlled Judiciary Committee in the 1980s. Back then, Republicans were willing to reject someone for racism, um, excuse me, I mean being "racially charged." There is no realistic chance of him being rejected by the GOP-controlled Senate today. He is their colleague!

I did not think it would be Ted Cruz. Cruz was willing to snub Trump after he clinched the nomination. Trump won't want anyone who shows that kind of independence.
