All signs point to a really horrible year for the U.S. tourism industry. Conventions are canceling, bookings for U.S.-bound flights from abroad are down, and now it looks like even Canadian school kids are staying away.
On the flip side, I guess I need to get off my ass and book my trip to Iceland. Those European tourists might not be coming here, but they are going somewhere. I bet a lot of other places are going to get a mini-boom to complement our slump.
