These statements from people in the Trump Administration about their concerns of “Chinese theft” of any COVID-19 vaccine the US might develop leads me to believe they aren’t thinking of giving any vaccine they discover to other countries. It probably hasn’t even occurred to them.
The whole world is suffering from this. Anyone who develops an effective vaccine should just make sure that everyone gets it. If there is any charge it should not be more than the bare costs to produce it. If that’s the plan, “theft” isn’t possible.
