the wagon

now that the saudis are calling for the syrians to leave lebanon a pullout is almost inevitable. it's not that the saudis have all that much influence (they have some), but that they are just not into bold diplomatic moves against other arab countries. they wouldn't speak publicly about such things unless they're absolutely sure which way the wind is blowing and want to jump on the band wagon.

i actually have a lot more to rant about lebanon. i will do that rant later, insha'llah. work is still busy, blah blah blah. but if i'm good today, a wide range of goof-off opportunities will open later. i just wanted to get the above paragraph in just so i can brag later about how i called it before it happened. the saudis aren't the only band wagon jumpers, you know.
