this is pretty amazing. even if it is just an internet meme and not the product of any recent study, that doesn't make it less cool.
hey, and while we're talking about language, check out this post from RCC about diglossia in arabic. it's rather long, and i have some rather longwinded comments. but hey, i eat this stuff up. what is it about languages that is so endlessly fascinating?
