red handed

wiki's feature allowing users to track the IP addresses of the people making edits is turning into a real boon. first, they found fox messing in the henhouse. now it's the FBI and CIA's turn.

the fun will probably be ending soon. these kind of things only work when the feature is new and it doesn't occur to the editor to try to disguise the source IP. they'll keep doing the same thing, but just do a better job at covering their tracks.

UPDATE: richard blair has a list of the source domains of the top 25 wiki scrubbers. it seems that quite a few government agencies are getting into the act.
