there's one hoopy frood


i suspect the reason that KBR requires its logo to be monogrammed on each overpriced towel it sells to the u.s. military is to encourage thievery. a towel saying "KBR Baghdad" is a pretty good souvenir.1 the more soldiers/contractors that fly home with one, the more overpriced towels the military has to order to replace them.

1- it is too a good souvenir!!! take it from the guy who once traveled the world with a "kenyan rails" towel snatched from an overnight nairobi to mombasa train. i didn't stop carrying that thing around until i accidentally left it in hama, syria in 2005. (remember waiting in the aleppo market one evening as i haggled over a new towel, og?)
