the article mentions (as many others have before) that queen elizabeth is "one of the world’s richest women". it also mentions how she "shed a tear" when the british government took away her last yacht in 1997. if she misses having a yacht so much, why does she need british taxpayers to buy one for her?
maybe being the queen means that she isn't really in control of how her wealth is spent? maybe the british government has to approve big purchases? is that right? if that's the case, then the money isn't really hers and they should stop calling her one of the world's richest. instead they should call her "the most overcompensated dole recipient."
