There is no point in saving the Supreme Court filibuster for later

This makes no sense. Not filibustering Gorsuch doesn't "hold their fire for the next Supreme Court vacancy." If the Republicans can use the nuclear option to eliminate the filibuster for this nomination, they will be able to do it on the next one.

There is no up-side for any Democrat to vote for cloture. You're not saving anything. You're just not doing everything you can to stop this nomination. Unlike the next Supreme Court vacancy, this seat is the one that is stolen. If any nomination deserves extraordinary measures, it is this one.
