I'm also afraid that John Bolton might start a war, but it makes no sense for Trump to share that concern. Bolton is an adviser to the President. He does not have any decision-making authority on his own. The scenario in which he starts a war is one where he talks the President into doing something stupid and belligerent. If the President doesn't want Bolton to start a war, all he has to do is not listen to Bolton. If I don't want Bolton to start a war all I have is the hope that Trump won't listen to Bolton, which is not much of a hope.
