Neil MacFarquhar writes about Trump's threats to cancel the INF treaty with the Russians (the treaty banned land-based intermediate range nuclear missiles):
Russia has grown uneasy as many countries along its extensive southern border, including China, India, Pakistan and Iran, began developing such weapons. None of them are signatories to the treaty.Only one of those countries is along Russia's Southern border. I'd wonder if MacFarquhar was looking at a map from before the fall of the USSR, except that two of those four countries didn't border the Soviet Union either.
