The only thing that will get Wingnut Judges to take abuses of power seriously is if the Democrats are abusing power

I agree with Kevin Drum, the only serious hope I have that the conservative majority on the Supreme Court will reign in partisan gerrymandering is if the Democrats create some egregious cases in the states they control.
