Am I right to believe that just about everyone knows that Trump’s wall on the border will Mexico will never get built, no matter how the fight over the emergency declaration plays out? What’s at stake in the fight over that declaration is whether the U.S. builds a wall on the border, it’s whether the president lights $8 billion on fire so that Sean Hannity doesn’t say mean stuff about him.
That and the survival of checks and balances in our constitutional system.
