As pessimistic I am about how the Supreme Court will handle this case, the bottom line is that most people believe that employment discrimination against gay people is illegal throughout the U.S. Next year's Supreme Court decision will either make that illegal (unlikely with the current Court, but possible), or it will educate the public that job discrimination against gay people is legal which should improve the chances that ENDA finally passes.
