Bibi just wants to secure his governing coalition so he won't go to jail. People tut-tuting him on the other side of the Atlantic doesn't figure into the equation. Also he knows the leaders of the American Jewish community will continue to support Israel no matter how rightwing and racist its government gets.
(Whether having what would be called a neo-Nazi government if it was in almost any other country will drive more younger American Jews away from Israel is a different issue. But I think Netanyahu is betting that when they get older they will follow their parents' lead and blindly support Israel no matter what.)
