I just figured out that the Republican named "Handel" who came in second to Jon Ossoff in yesterday's special election for Newt Gingrich's old congressional seat is the Karen Handel who needlessly created a P.R. disaster for the Komen Foundation and almost brought down the whole organization in 2012.
