Never mind what I said yesterday. Trump blinked. This seems like a pretty strong signal that he is not willing to force a government shutdown on his 100th day in office. Maybe it is dawning on him that the humiliation of not accomplishing much by day 100 would not be as bad as the humiliation of forcing a government shutdown on that day because of the widespread rejection of his signature issue.
