I realize that as an American in the age of Trump it is a little odd for me to say this, but I can't get over how the UK has spent the last two years working their collective asses off negotiating with other countries and with themselves to deal with a crisis that they created entirely from scratch.
What would British politicians have done if the Brexit vote went a couple of percentage points the other way and ended up with a no? What problems could they have solved? Or would they have just come up with some way to create some other manufactured crisis to work out their culture issues?
