I wonder if Trump abruptly ended the summit because it wasn't doing what it was supposed to do for him: give him a bunch of gushing headlines about historic deals and Nobel prizes. Instead, of paying attention to him in Vietnam, everyone is watching his former lawyer talk about what a complete shithead he is. So now he is running back to Washington so he can get back to his usual incoherent form of damage control.
