Vote No No Yes Yes

Today is an election day here in Pennsylvania. Even though it is technically just a primary, there are also three proposed proposed amendments to the PA constitution on the ballot. Two of those three are proposals to severely restrict the Governor's ability to declare and maintain a state of emergency.

The State Constitution requires that amendments be approved by a majority of the voters. But it is it ridiculous that the referendum can be scheduled on an off-year primary when so few people vote. Pennsylvanians, don't let those fuckers get away with this! Polls are open until 8pm and you can find your polling place here (Even if you think you know where it is, double check! A lot of polling places have changed since the pandemic began--mine did).
