Last night I tried to upload avatar for an online Diplomacy game to match the country I was assigned. But then realized that because the site used gravatar, it might also change my comment avatar across the blogisphere. Luckily, it didn't seem to affect this site. (Could this be the first thing I like about Disqus, the fact that it has its own avatar system?) But elsewhere (especially Wordpress sites), I might look a little different.
