On Friday, Marco Rubio gave a confusing statement about why he is voting to acquit President Trump in the impeachment case. Essentially Rubio said that while the House managers proved their case and Trump's actions were impeachable, he can't vote for impeachment because it is a party-line vote which would be bad for the country. Many pointed out that Rubio himself could make it not be a party-line vote simply by voting to convict. Marco, however, was unmoved.
But now with Romney voting to convict, it's not a purely partisan vote anymore. So does that mean that Rubio will now vote to convict?
