I realize the name is in Irish Gaelic, but I am still think it’s funny that the “leading opposition party” in Ireland has the word “Fail” in its name.
I mean, this is not the case of a name that happens to be funny in English but the locals mostly don’t realize the connotation in a foreign language. Ireland is an English-speaking country!
